Police said Adams forced his way into a female’s car in the parking lot of Big Lots on Wilmington Pike, according to reports. He was originally arrested and charged with kidnapping, gross sexual imposition, tampering with evidence and felony theft.
The arrest was made based on a positive match of DNA collected at the scene and from the victim, using swabs.
