“Police investigated, they searched the contents of his phone — which can take some time — and uncovered evidence that offered probable cause for the arrest,” Wilson told the Journal-News today.
She said his attorney arranged for Dente to turn himself in.
Dente was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday but that hearing was continued to Nov. 27, because his attorney has asked for discovery, according to court records.
