Mayor Of Greenville Accepts Family Job In Arizona

The mayor of Greenville announced Thursday that he has accepted a new job in Arizona.

Greg Fraley said the he has accepted an offer from his family to go to work for the family business at the beginning of 2008.

Fraley said he will be working with his two brothers and his father at ALEXCO, LLC., which is an aluminum extrusion manufacturer for the aerospace industry in Chandler, Ariz.

According to Fraley, he will fulfill his term as mayor until it expires at 12 a.m. Jan. 8, 2008. He said he Darke Co. Republican Party will be replacing him on the ballot with a new candidate in the coming weeks to run in the general election in November.

Fraley said, “Gina and I were not looking to leave Greenville but the chance to put our family first and take a step that will benefit our three kids for many years was the deciding factor in making this decision. The kids will be going to school with their cousins.”

“It is going to be tough leaving Greenville after establishing the relationships we have and the ability to work with so many wonderful people in the city of Greenville, Fraley said.”
