The spicier Big Mac represents the chain's first attempt at a changed recipe of its iconic, signature sandwich, according to Nation's Restaurant News (nrn.com).
This isn’t McDonald’s first flirtation with the pepper-spiked condiment. The chain introduced a Sriracha-spiked version of its signature Special Sauce for a limited time in July at locations in Seattle and southern California.
In the Columbus test, customers will be able to customize any item on the menu with the sriracha sauce, NRN.com said.
