2 Men Accused Of Importuning

Police said two men have been charged with soliciting sex online with who they thought were minors.

Jason Vanderpool, 30, of St.Marys was indicted on charges of importuning. Police said he solicited sex from a minor over the Internet on June 10. He was actually communicating with a St. Marys police officer.

Shawn Patrick Harrington, 48, of Plano, Texas., was also accused of importuning. Police said he allegedly attempted to meet a teen for sex of the Internet in the St. Marys area.

Both men are out of jail on a $15,000 bond.
