Weather-related science concepts that anyone can explore will be the focus of a “Meteorology Mania” Family Day March 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

Activities will include the game “Are You Smarter Than a Fourth Grader, Weather Edition;” demonstrations and other activities about air pressure, density and temperature; a tornado machine and more. Visitors can take part in hands-on activities to learn about what makes weather.

All activities are free, and no advanced reservations are necessary.

The museum’s Education Division hosts Family Days one Saturday a month (excluding December). These programs are designed for children and adults of all ages and offers several hands-on opportunities for all to enjoy.
