Miamisburg OKs West Carrollton firm tax deal for jobs at Austin Business Park

UPDATE @ 6:50 p.m. (Sept. 4): The Miamisburg City Council on Tuesday night has OK'd a tax credit for a business looking to relocate into the city from West Carrollton. Expected to create 20 jobs.

The city of Miamisburg is preparing to offer a tax deal to a West Carrollton company to expand and move to the Austin Business Park.

A job creation income tax credit would provide Aerobiotix Inc. a 25 percent, five-year reduction, if it moves to an 18,000-square-foot facility in the park along Byers Road, documents show.

As part of the agreement, the company now in an 8,000-square-foot facility on Fame Road in West Carrollton would bring 13 jobs to Miamisburg and add seven more over three years for a $2 million payroll at the end of that time frame, according to Miamisburg records.

Aerobiotix specializes in advanced air quality products for the healthcare market, according to its website. The company designs, develops, manufactures and markets novel technologies worldwide.

The agreement is scheduled to be considered by Miamisburg City Council when it meets tonight at 6 p.m. in council chambers of the Miamisburg Civic Center, 10 N. First St.
