The computer specialist said some of the data appeared to be "fluent conversations" between two individuals on the date the alleged crimes occurred.

Juveniles are expected to testify later Wednesday afternoon, prosecutors said.

The father of the alleged teenage victim today said he knew of his son's involvement with a teacher and asked the teen to stay away from her.

Jessica Langford, 32, of Centerville, is on trial on charges alleging she had sexual contact with the student, who was 14.

A series of texts between the father and the son occurred the morning before the alleged crimes occurred, said the father, a local police officer.

"Do not go into the classroom. It's wrong," the father testified he told his son in a text. "She's damaging you."

The man said later that day - after the alleged crimes occurred - Miamisburg Middle School Principal Kelly Thomas called him.

FIRST REPORT

The second day of testimony is set to begin this morning in the trial of an ex-Miamisburg teacher charged with having sex with a middle school student.

Miamisburg Middle School Principal Kelly Thomas may resume testimony this morning. She was one of three middle school staff members to take the stand Tuesday regarding the charges against Jessica Langford, 32, of Centerville.

Langford was indicted in November on three counts of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. She pleaded not guilty to all charges and has been free on her own recognizance.

Langford resigned shortly after being confronted with accusations against her May 23, 2017 after being with the district for nearly nine years.

The jury of eight men and four women also heard testimony from MMS French Bryn Tidwell. Tidwell said she had the alleged victim in her class, and said Langford made “odd” requests to her regarding the teen, now 15.

MMS social studies teacher Kevin Osborne testified Tuesday that he saw Langford and the student enter the building together prior to the school day on May 23 and told Kelly about it because it was out of the ordinary.

But defense attorney Lawrence Greger told the jury no sexual contact occurred.

“No evidence from the investigation would lead to suspect that any touching, romantic or sexual activity took place,” Greger said.
