Michelle Knight tells her story on Dr. Phil

Michelle Knight spoke exclusively with Dr. Phil on Tuesday's show about her time held captive by Ariel Castro in Cleveland and will continue her conversation with him today on WHIO-TV.

Knight, in the first of a two-part special, told Dr. Phil, in her own words, the time she spent chained, beaten, naked and hungry.

"I didn't get the covers. I didn't get the clothes. I didn't get food or anything else, if it wasn't the way he wanted it to be," Knight said.

Knight also told Dr. Phil about a dog she loved dearly. On one particular day, the dog tried protecting her against Castro. The dog bit Castro, who was again trying to hurt Knight. When the dog attacked Castro, he retaliated.

"He picked him up, turned his neck," said Knight, who illustrated Castro's actions with her hands. "All I heard was a yelp and then he was gone," she said.

She also told, in graphic detail, stories about being choked to the point of unconsciousness. Knight also spoke to being raped repeatedly, and even an intentional beating that led to a miscarriage.

Knight also recounted her limited interaction with the other victims.

"I begged him not to bring anymore there to suffer the hell I went through," Knight said.

You can see the conclusion of the two-part special today at 10 a.m. on WHIO-TV, Channel 7.
