Middletown man charged in Cabela’s rifle theft

The suspect in the theft of a rifle from Cabela’s has been identified, according to West Chester Twp. officials.

Justin Beagle, of Middletown, has been identified as the man who allegedly concealed a Savage model B22 .22 caliber rifle under his clothing and walked out of Cabela’s, 7250 Cabela Drive, on April 24, according to township spokesperson Barb Wilson.

Beagle, 26, has been charged with theft from a federally licensed firearm dealer, she said.

He is currently in Preble County Jail on unrelated charges, according to Wilson.
