A Middletown man received a suspended jail term after being found with a meth pipe when police were called to a disturbance Monday.
According to the police report, a woman who lives in the 4000 block of Helton Drive reported being assaulted by Michael Perry, 54, several days before. When police arrived, Perry was at the residence and was located in the bathroom. The woman said he wanted Perry to gather his belongings and leave.
Police handcuffed Perry and found a cloth bag with an methamphetamine pipe. Police charged Perry with possession of drug paraphernalia/meth pipe, a second-degree misdemeanor.
Perry appeared Tuesday in Middletown Municipal Court where he was found guilty. He received a suspended 60-day jail term and a $150 fine.
