A mother accused of taking her 2-year-old son in a case that prompted an Amber Alert has pleaded not guilty in that case.
Kelsey Hannah, 30, entered the plea in connection with an Aug. 13 interference with custody charge regarding Atticus Phillips, Miamisburg Municipal Court records show.
An arrest warrant was issued for Hannah, who court records show has a Miamisburg address, Aug. 15 after authorities said she took the boy in defiance of a Warren County court order.
Hannah returned her son that day and had been summoned to appear in court Wednesday, according to Miamisburg records. However, she has entered a not guilty plea and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing Oct. 2, court records show.
Hannah has no criminal history except for some minor traffic violations, court records show.
The Amber Alert was issued Aug. 16 after a series of events and legal actions in previous days, according to court records.
