“We’ll use a lot of our experienced people and then hire additional developers and implementation staff to augment our current experienced folks,” he said.
The jobs in Moraine added in the next 12 months at the company’s location at 4100 Miller-Valentine Court will have an average salary range of $70,000 a year, Teed said. Division-wide, he noted, the firm plans to add “a good 25 people” during the next year.
The four-year deal calls for the integrated solution to replace 40-year-old technology used by Cook County’s offices of the assessor, clerk, treasurer, board of review, and Department of Geographic Information Systems, officials said. Tyler has been fairly successful when it comes to this solution, Teed said.
“We win more than 50 percent of the business that we pursue with that application,” Teed said. “This will be the largest property tax contract to my knowledge that will be signed. So it’s significant in that we’re competitive, very competitive in that tier of the marketplace.”
Tyler’s iasWorld solution will provide the county with improved work flow processes and data analytics, as well as better data accuracy and increased transparency for public-facing services, according to the company.
