PHOTOS: Most of Keowee Bridge now gone
Contractors from Eagle Construction have been working since the bridge closed in December, but have been stymied by harsh winter weather and the relocation of gas and water lines that were also part of the bridge.

A construction bridge has been installed parallel to the old bridge.

The new bridge is expected to be completed in September 2019 according to Montgomery County Engineer Paul Gruner.
