Motorists plow through high water in Washington Twp.

UPDATE @ 2:30 p.m.

A driver whose vehicle careened into the center concrete divider on I-75 North near Wagner Ford Road told authorities high water was to blame.

Traffic on I-75 North was slowed as crews responded to the crash, which temporarily blocked the left two lanes. There were no injuries reported, but the vehicle had to be towed away.

EARLIER

Showers are bringing much needed rain to parts of the Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio, but heavy downpours are causing some flash flooding.

High water signs are up at Rahn Road and Grantland Drive where water has pooled on the roadway.

Motorists are able to pass through, but some drivers appear to be surprised when they hit the standing water going at the posted speed limit.

We are continuing to track reports of flooding and other problems associated with the showers and storms passing through this Sunday.
