The $6 million facility will provide hospital-level emergency services 30,200 square feet of space in the existing Jamestown medical complex, according to a release.
The facility will have 10 patient exam rooms, imaging services, and a medical laboratory. The center will employ 75 people, according to a release.
“Patients from Jamestown and other communities in Greene, Clinton and Fayette Counties will benefit tremendously by having this service near to where they live,” says Bobbie Gerhart, president and CEO of Miami Valley Hospital. “The new 24-hour emergency facility will provide earlier treatment for emergency medical care, when seconds count.”
