“Through the course of the investigation, we have learned that you sent documents related to your official duties from your official IRS e-mail account to an msn.com email account labeled “Lois Home,” the two wrote. “This raises some serious questions concerning your use of a non-official e-mail account to conduct official business.”
Issa and Jordan, who chairs the Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s subcommittee on Economic Growth, Job Creation and Regulatory Affairs, are investigating the IRS’ admission earlier this year that it gave extra scrutiny to tea party-affiliated groups who were applying for tax-exempt groups.
