RNC 2016: Melania Trump addresses the convention

UPDATE @ 10:36 p.m.:

“Donald gets things done,” Melania Trump said, adding that she believes the country is under performing. “Now, he will go to work for you…he knows how to lead.”

Melania Trump said her husband represents all of the people, not just some of the people. She said it includes all different races and religions.

“My husband is ready to lead this great nation,” Melania Trump said.

Melania Trump received several standing ovations during her speech.

She said she wants to work for children’s education should she be First Lady in the United States.

Melania Trump ended her speech by saying, “God Bless America.”

Her husband joined her on the stage and gave her a kiss.

“Like me he loves this country very much,” Melania Trump said, referring to her husband Donald Trump.

Melania Trump said she became a citizen of the United States in 2006.

“If you want someone to fight…for your country, I can assure you he’s the one,” Melania Trump said. “He’s tough when he has to be, but he’s also kind and fair and caring.”

Melania Trump has taken the stage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Monday night.

The presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump introduced his wife for tonight’s speech at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland.
