RNC 2016: Police stay busy with demonstrators

Flag burning protest underway:

A flag burning protest in the area of East 4th Street and Prospect Ave. in downtown Cleveland around 4:15 p.m ended in more than a dozen arrests and two officers injured.

Anti-Trump, anti-wall protest at Public Square:

Some 300 peaceful protesters of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's wall marched through Public Square to other parts of downtown chanting about needing love, not the "storm" that exists today in society. One man told News Center 7's James Brown the wall between people would only make the "storm" worse. The group carried a 30-foot long banner to display their displeasure of the wall. The group was joined by another large group.

Police saw the large groups moving and quickly followed to monitor the situation, but everyone stayed calm.

Trump supporters march on 4th Street:

A large group of Donald Trump supporters outside the Republican National Convention swarmed 4th St. in downtown Cleveland Wednesday afternoon. Amelia Robinson of Dayton.com captured video of the massive crowd. The protestors were joined by a parade of police, media and merchants.

This section of 4th St. is typically known for its nightlife and restaurants.

People nearly walk shoulder to shoulder down the bustling street.
