Sheriff to boost patrols for area Stormy Daniels performances this weekend

The two scheduled appearances by porn star Stormy Daniels at a Washington Twp. strip club this weekend has prompted an increased police presence, according to Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer.

Daniels, aka Stephanie Clifford, is scheduled to perform at Diamonds on Friday and Saturday nights. Daniels was arrested last month after a performance at a Columbus club, but the misdemeanor charges quickly were dropped.

“We just have additional patrol officers deployed in the area both nights,” Plummer told this news organization, “due to the potential for large crowds.”

Daniels, who has claimed she and Donald Trump had sex in 2006, has sued Trump and his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement signed just before election day in 2016. Cohen reportedly paid Daniels $130,000 after she signed the agreement.

Daniels had been scheduled to appear in Franklin County Municipal Court before the charge was dropped. She was accused of putting both hands on an undercover female police officer’s buttocks and breast and putting her own breast in the officer’s face, according to a complaint.
