Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's happiness at being chosen No. 5 in the NFL draft got even sweeter when a bakery created a cake in his honor.

Thursday was a sweet day for Tua Tagovailoa. Not only was the University of Alabama quarterback selected by the Miami Dolphins with the fifth overall pick in the NFL draft, but he also had a big cake to celebrate.

Dreamcakes Cafe created a custom cake for the former Crimson Tide star, AL.com reported. The staff at the Hoover, Alabama, business showed off its cake on its Facebook page.

"It was so hard to keep this secret! We made Tua's NFL draft cake for last night's pick," the Facebook post said. "Needless to say we were thrilled to be picked, too! He was so kind and friendly. A beautiful person inside and out. Congrats Tua! There will be a lot of new Dolphins fans today."

The owners of the shop, Dwight Potter and Jan Moon Potter, created a large white cake with a strawberry filling and vanilla bean icing, AL.com reported.

"Honored to have Tua and his family pick Dreamcakes Bakery for his celebration cakes. (We made his father's BDay cake too)," Dwight Potter said on Facebook. "We had to deliver to a secret location and got to meet them this week. Nice guy and hope he goes far as a Miami Dolphin. (He is a client so I was nice and didn't say War Eagle once) I can cheer for Miami."

Dwight Potter studied business at Auburn University, according to his Facebook profile.

“I am an Auburn alum but (a) businessman also,” Dwight Potter said in a Facebook post. “We make cakes for everyone.”
