An attorney who dressed as the Grim Reaper to protest the reopening of Florida beaches is plunking down crosses to mark coronavirus deaths.

As of Friday afternoon, 1,948 people have died from the coronavirus in Florida, according to Johns Hopkins tracking information.

Daniel Uhlfelder started donning a black cloak and scythe in protest May 1 as counties along both coasts of the state reopened beaches.
