We got spirit, yes we do, we got spirit how 'bout ... dads?

A group of dads from Camden, New Jersey, recently showed they have what it takes to hit the mat just like their daughters.

The fathers of the cheerleaders at Linden-Boro Chargers Cheerleading learned their own routine, complete with flips and flying in the air, beating any competition out there, even if their moves aren’t quite as polished as the pint-sized veterans on the squad.

They call themselves the Daddy Bolts, WPVI reported.

The video posted over the weekend has more than 72,000 views on Facebook.

WCAU reported it took only six practices to learn the routine that they put on during a competition this weekend.

Each practice was about 90 minutes, WPVI reported.

The idea started when a coach asked them to form the squad and cheer. They wanted to empower their daughters, but they ended up learning something in the process.

"I definitely have a new profound respect for my daughters with practicing and going out onto the mat and doing this. [The girls] are doing incredible things out here," Jason Shafer told WCAU.
