Coronavirus: Chick-fil-A employee in Indianapolis dances customers into drive-thru

With positive vibes in short supply because of fears stoked by the coronavirus pandemic, Daniel Morgan is dancing into his customers’ hearts.

Morgan, an employee at a Chick-fil-A in Indianapolis, not only directs customers into the drive-thru -- he also dances them into the lanes, WXIN reported.

Morgan said his mother called him, “Dan, Dan, the Dancing Man” while he was growing up, the television station reported.

Now, as an adult, Morgan’s moves are moving consumers.

"The reactions have been great," Morgan told WXIN. "So many people just like burst out laughing. So many people, like, join in a little bit doing a little dance in their car and I just love it. It's great to see the smile on people's faces."

Some customers have been taking videos of Morgan’s dancing moves and sharing them on social media, the television station reported.

Morgan said he believes God is using him to spread a message of joy to people who were nervous and scared during the outbreak.

"Whether I'm getting attention or not, it's not about me in the end," Morgan told WXIN. "Our time here isn't long, it's limited so, just using that time more wisely, I think that's what this whole pandemic has encouraged and motivated me to do and forced a lot of people to do.

"To spend a lot of time with people we love and really be honest with them how much they mean to us.”
