Coronavirus: Cleveland Browns treat Canton school employees to lunch, give them T-shirts

Several members of the Cleveland Browns Foundation tipped their hats to school employees who continue to work and teach during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, foundation members treated employees at McKinley High School in Canton to lunch and a free T-shirt, the Canton Repository reported.

The T-shirts sported the Browns’ “Hats Off to Our Heroes” logos. also, lunch was also served lunch with food from a local Arby’s, the newspaper reported.

The Browns' Hats Off to Our Heroes Fund was launched to aid health care professionals, first responders, educational professions and other essential workers.

According to the Browns' website, team proceeds from the sales of new Browns' jerseys will go into a fund to benefit health care professionals, first responders and education professionals.
