A Florida man is a lung cancer survivor. Now, he has beaten the coronavirus.

Carl Schuck, 72, spent two weeks on a ventilator at Jacksonville's Baptist Hospital after he was diagnosed with COVID-19, the hospital said in a tweet.

Friday, Schuck was wheeled out of the hospital, pumping his fists and displaying a “V for victory” sign. As he was leaving, Baptist Hospital staff lined the halls and cheered, calling it an Easter miracle.

Schuck was carrying a sign of good wishes, created by staff members.

“God bless you all,” Schuck told the staff as he left to reunite with his wife, Laura Schuckl the hospital said.
