'Uh-oh’: Denny Hamlin’s daughter wrecks his chances for victory during virtual race

His 7-year-old daughter, Taylor, was the culprit, pushing a remote control button and turning Hamlin's screen black, WTHR reported.

In a video Hamlin posted to social media, the driver was competing in the virtual race when Taylor walked up to him with a remote, asking if they could play with their go-karts.

As Hamlin tries to shoo his daughter away, the girl accidentally hits the remote’s power button, sending Hamlin to the virtual garage for the day.

"Hey, my screen went black," Hamlin can be saying heard on the video.

"Uh-oh," Taylor says in the video, turning and then hurrying out of the room, the Los Angeles Times reported.

It is not clear why Hamlin’s daughter had the remote control in the first place.

"I had so many questions about what just happened," Hamlin tweeted. "Then we found second-hand footage at the end. I cannot believe it."

It is not the first time Hamlin's daughter has disrupted his racing, the Times reported. Last month, Taylor brought Hamlin a Coca-Cola while he was competing in the first iRacing event at a simulated Homestead-Miami Speedway track. The drink was a little too carbonated and overflowed, causing Hamlin to yell, "Oil spill" -- but he covered and wound up winning the race.
