"Game of Thrones" strongman Hafthor Björnsson is on top of the mountain as a powerlifter. The actor turned on the power Saturday, setting a world record in the deadlift, hoisting 1,104.5 pounds, ESPN reported.

The 31-year-old native of Iceland set the record in his home country. Bjronnson, who played the Mountain, Gregor Clegane, in the popular HBO series, now has deadlifted more than anyone in the sport's history, CNN reported.

Nicknamed "Thor," the 6-foot, 9-inch, 425-pounder broke the previous record of 1,102.31 pounds, set in 2016 by England's Eddie Hall, ESPN reported.

“I believe today I could’ve done more, but what’s the point?” Björnsson told reporters. “I’m happy with this. My family and friends, they were happy with this, and I’ve decided to call it.”
