An Iowa man trying to buy a cellphone through a buying and selling app, was robbed at gunpoint Monday night when he met someone to buy the item, authorities said.
According to Des Moines police Sgt. Paul Parizek, the victim contacted the seller through the Letgo app and agreed to meet at a residence, WHO-TV reported.

After the victim met the seller, another person came up behind him and pressed a silver gun to his head, police said.
The two suspects took the man's cash and ran away, KCCI reported.
There were no injuries reported, the television station reported.
Police believe the suspects were juveniles, according to WHO-TV.
