The Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall of all enoki mushrooms produced by Sun Hong Foods because of potential listeria contamination.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said four people have died and 36 people have become sick after eating the mushrooms.

The mushrooms were shipped in a white cardboard box with 25 packages of mushrooms sold in clear plastic bags. The bags had a green label with Korean lettering and Enoki Mushrooms written in orange, the FDA said.

They have UPC 7 426852 625810.

They were sold in various supermarkets in California, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Illinois and Florida, a company release said.

If you have purchased the mushrooms, do not eat them and return them for a full refund. If you have questions, call 1-323-597-1112, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT.
