A 5-year-old girl was injured early Wednesday morning during a drive-by shooting in Tennessee, according to Memphis police.

A 5-year-old girl was injured early Wednesday morning during a drive-by shooting in Tennessee, according to Memphis police.

The girl was sleeping when the shooting occurred in the 4600 block of Dunn Avenue in East Memphis.

The girl was grazed on the leg by a bullet. She was taken to Baptist East in noncritical condition.

According to a person who lives in the home where the shooting happened, the girl is now back home.

The person said the gunman threw a Molotov cocktail at the home and started a small fire.

At least seven people were inside the home when the shooting happened.

Police said the suspects are males and were wearing hoodies.

The suspects were in a light-colored vehicle.

Police say the shooting is under investigation.
