New Information: 2 Injured In Miami Co. Collision

Miami County deputies said a Tipp City man told them he stopped at the stop sign, looked both ways, then pulled out and there was a collision.

"I didn't see any cars coming," wrote Terrance (Terry) Sorah, in this statement following a broadside collision Tuesday afternoon.

It occurred at the intersection of Nashville and Kessler-Cowlesville roads. west of Tipp City.

Sorah's work van slammed into the driver's door of a car driven by Dorothy Henderson, 73, of Dayton. She was trapped in her car for about 20 minutes until Tipp City firefighters could pop her door open with the use of the mechanical Jaws of Life.

She was taken to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton aboard CareFlight in fair condition.

A passenger in her car, Russella Harden, 50, of Trotwood, was also taken to Miami Valley by Union Township EMS.

Sorah claimed no injuires.

The crash remains under investigation by Miami County deputies.
