New Mexican restaurant to open July 5 in Riverside

A Mexican restaurant called Las Margaritas Mexican Bar & Grill is scheduled to open July 5 at 5526 Airway Road in the Page Manor shopping center, in space that previously housed the Taqueria Las Tapatias restaurant.

Las Margaritas is owned by Nick Ortiz of Miamisburg, who also operates International Auto Sales at 2301 E. Fifth St. in Dayton.

Ortiz said Las Margaritas will serve authentic Mexican dishes as well as Tex-Mex fare. It will focus on margaritas, with specials and a variety of flavors and specials.

The new restaurant will seat about 84 and will employ about 10, Ortiz said. Plans call for extending the restaurant’s existing bar prior to opening, he said.
