New restaurant to replace closed Long John Silver’s in Middletown

A Butler County restaurant that shut down earlier this year will be replaced by a new eatery next week.

Crispy Fish & Chicken will open Tuesday at 1304 Breiel Blvd. in Middletown, the former site of Long John Silver’s, which abruptly closed in March.

The new restaurant will serve fish, chicken, gyros, shrimp, burgers and Philly steak.

The business is being opened by brothers Ali Murad and Hamza Murad, who also own Corner Market Fish & Chicken locations on Hill Avenue and on Yankee Road in Middletown. Those convenience stores sells fresh cooked food along with beer and cigarettes at the state minimum, beverages, snacks, jewelry, hair and wigs.
