New store coming to The Greene

The Walking Company, a California-based retailer specializing in comfort footwear, will open its first Dayton location next week at The Greene shopping center in Beavercreek, according to Kelli Kooken, the mall’s events and marketing coordinator.

The shoe store, which sells a variety of footwear, from boots to slippers under brand names including ECCO, Rockport and Birkenstock, will open in the space formerly occupied by crystal retailer, Swarovski, at 4424 Glengarry Road. No opening date has been set yet.
