A spokeswoman for Noodles & Co. could not be reached immediately on Friday to confirm the company’s plans, and Aaron Savino, the leasing agent with Miller-Valentine Group for the Brown Street development, declined comment. It is not unusual for a restaurant’s owners to apply for a liquor license before a lease is signed and a final deal is struck.
The corporate owner of Noodles & Co. — which operates restaurants at The Greene in Beavercreek and in the Austin Landing development in Miami Twp. — also filed applications for liquor licenses for three other Ohio locations, two in the Cincinnati area and one in Zanesville, that are not listed on the restaurant chain’s web site.
