The Buckeye State is one of the best places for millennials to live, a new report out this week shows.
Personal finance website WalletHub ranked Ohio as the No. 16 state in the entire country for millennials. WalletHub generated the rankings based on each state’s affordabilitiy, education and health, quality of life, economy and civic engagement.
The best state for millennials isn’t even a state. Washington, D.C. received the No. 1 ranking from WalletHub, placing first in the categories of education and health, quality of life and civic engagement, according to the report.

The state to receive the lowest overall ranking was New Mexico. Below is a listing of the five best and worst states for millennials based on WalletHub’s ranking.
