I would encourage the athletic director to be a risk-taker and dream like Thomas J. Frericks and propose building a brand new arena with double the current seating capacity. After all, Frericks built a brand new arena with five times the capacity of the old Fieldhouse. And by the way, the old Fieldhouse is still being used today. Any Republican with a track record for trouble as extensive as Hillary Clinton's would have been destroyed by the media, and the party, long ago. In the case of the emails, the media would have also gone after the administration. How long will we have to put up with the charade that Hillary is a viable candidate for POTUS?
Even if Donald Trump gets the Republican nomination for president, we can only hope that there are not enough right wing nuts to elect a person like him to be the President of the United States of America — the greatest nation ever conceived.
