A search warrant was executed at 972 Ohio 49, and upon searching the property, deputies found an estimated 150 to 200 dogs in the main house, out buildings and campers on the property, according to a release.
Nineteen dogs, including seven puppies and their mother were removed from the residence. Of those dogs, eight were deemed to be terminally ill and were euthanized by a local veterinarian, according to the release.
Charges are likely to be filed in an attempt to obtain additional court orders to control the number of dogs on the property.
