Oxford Man Accused Of Attacking Officer

Police said it took four officers and two medics to get control of an Oxford Township who was allegedly attacking a police offer.

Caleb Beers, 20, was charged with felonious assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Officer said Beers attacked an officer on Stillweel Beckett Road on Saturday and tried to steal the officer’s gun.

Beers was arrested. He posted bond and was released from the Butler County Jail.
