The man found shot to death inside a Fairborn apartment has been identified.
Jarrel Plummer, 23, of Fairborn, died at a local hospital, according to the Greene County Coroner’s Office.
Plummer’s death has been ruled a homicide and police are investigation; the circumstances surrounding his injuries remain under investigation.
Plummer's death is the third in Greene County the past few days.

A man found shot inside a Fairborn apartment Sunday night has died.
The Greene County Coroner’s Office confirms they are expecting the body of the victim. His identity has not been released.
Fairborn police said they are investigating after a man was found shot inside a Fairborn apartment Sunday night.
Officers were dispatched to a complex in the 100 block of West Dayton Yellow Springs Road around 8:30 p.m. Sunday on reports a possible shooting.
Fairborn police Sgt. Gary Mader said when investigators arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Mader said the circumstances surrounding the shooting were unknown and police are unsure if the wound was intentional or self-inflicted.
The victim, who was not identified, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but his condition was unknown.
Police said the victim was the only one inside the apartment when officers arrived on scene.
Mader also added officers recovered multiple firearms inside the apartment, but it was unknown if any of the recovered weapons were used in the shooting.
