Police: Car Plows Into West Carrollton License Bureau

Police in West Carrollton said there was quite a scare Tuesday morning at the state license bureau after a woman somehow drove her car through the front window of the business.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. at the license bureau located on East Central Avenue.

Investigators said the woman works in the shopping center and was apparently attempting to park her car when something went wrong.

Police said the woman drove through the front window of the business, then made a right turn and crashed through a wall leading into the title agency and stopped. Investigators said there were three employees inside the business at the time, including one customer.

Officers said no one was injured.

Police are trying to figure out why the woman crashed into the license bureau. They said alcohol was not involved and that she had no medical conditions.

Investigators think she may have gotten the brake and gas pedal mixed up.

Officials said the license bureau will be closed for several weeks to repair the damage.
