Police: Man Now Charged After Trying To Buy Large Amount Of Cold Medicine

Police said an Indiana man is facing illegal assembly and drug possession charges after police said he tried to buy large amounts of Sudafed from a local Walgreens.

Clerks spotted two men trying to buy the cold medicine at the Miami Township Walgreens on Route 741.

Police said one of those men was 29-year-old Jason Cummins of Fredericksburg, Ind.

The other male involved was a juvenile.

Clerks at the store said the pair had been in earlier in the week trying to buy the medicine.

Cummins charges could be increased since a juvenile was involved.

He has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
