Premier Health Partners Announces Job Cuts

It was announced Monday that nearly 100 health care workers will soon be looking for new jobs.

Premier Health Partners, which operates Good Samaritan Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital and Middletown Regional Hospital, announced the cuts. The company said the cuts are necessary to reduce the work force and to reduce costs.

Officials at Premier Health Partners said 11 people are being cut at the corporate level, 30 are being cut at Miami Valley Hospital and 49 are being cut at Good Samaritan Hospital.

The company said the nurse-to-patient ratio will stay the same despite the cuts.
