“There shouldn’t be anything inherent to McDonald’s food products (that help pregnancy),” Groll said.
Groll guessed that treatment and multiple other factors unique to Laura Dixon’s anatomy did the trick that resulted in her triplets — Max, Mason and Mia.
“There may be other factors in hormone function,” he said.
It was a sad saga.
Dixon and her husband Tim reportedly turned to In Vitro fertilization because she was unable to get pregnant for 10 years, SWNS reports.
Dixon first round of treatments had to be abandoned after she developed dangerously swollen ovaries. She miscarried during the second try.
Then, as the story goes, Dixon turned animal for her third and final attempt.
Meat became her fertility’s savor.
She ended up "gorging on chicken, bacon and burgers plus a DAILY McDonald's big breakfast AND a sausage and egg McMuffin," the SWNS claims.
Her meat cravings became so strong she was tucking into THREE portions of meat a day with a Marks & Spencer chicken and stuffing salad sandwich her favourite snack.
She gave birth to her identical twin boys and a daughter after 35 weeks.
Dixon — a vegetarian once more - seems confident that the protein sources, including the sausage on the McMuffins, helped.
Not sure if Dixon ate fish, but her story seems pretty fishy to me. I asked Groll if the McMuffin was the silver bullet that lead to babies.
“I would hesitate to make that determination,” he said with a laugh.
