Shish Wraps at 1200 Brown St. has shut its doors after three years.
“It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of Shish Wraps, effective April 26,” the restaurant’s owners wrote on the Shish Wraps Facebook page. “We want to thank all our fans and loyal customers who have supported us for the past three years.”
Co-founder Simon Abboud said this morning there are no plans “at this time” to reopen Shish Wraps elsewhere. The closing affected four employees, all of whom were able to line up other jobs prior to the closure, Abboud said.
Shish Wraps opened in February 2013 under the ownership of brothers Simon and Antony Abboud, both of whom graduated from the University of Dayton. It shut down for several weeks in early 2014 to install additional kitchen equipment, and reopened in February 2014 with an expanded menu.
