Here’s what we know about the deaths so far:
Coach found dead on Friday
The cause of Pohlenz’s death is still unknown. An autopsy is expected to be conducted at the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office in Dayton over the weekend.
Along with teaching and coaching for the past 10 years, Pohlenz was also enrolled in Earlham College’s Masters of Arts Teaching Program.

“We as a school community are devastated and I personally am devastated,” said athletic director Larry Cochren in a prepared statement. “He had a great impact on all of our students and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and our community.”
Senior student shot Tuesday morning
Antwone Tremell Montre Carpenter was shot and killed early Tuesday morning. He died in surgery at Miami Valley Hospital after being shot and flown to the trauma center.
He was found in the front yard of a Richmond apartment early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the 800 block of North 15th Street around 12:15 a.m. on initial reports of a person down, Richmond police said in a media release.
The school held a moment of silence for both Carpenter and Taylor on this last day of school.
Freshman student drowned in a local lake on Monday
Taylor, a 15-year-old from Richmond, drowned in a lake at the Natural Springs Resort in Preble County on Memorial Day. A final cause of death is pending while the Preble County coroner awaits autopsy results and toxicology tests.
Taylor had been swimming with two friends, according to New Paris Police. He was declared dead at the scene, and his body was recovered from the lake by a dive team from the Richmond fire department.

People at the resort said the water was crowded with swimmers when the teen went missing. It is not clear how long he had been in the water, the Preble County Sheriff’s Office said.
Richmond superintendent Todd Terrill released a statement today offering thoughts, prayers and condolences.
