Hosted by the Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area, this evening will be one of inspiration, entertainment, friendship and fundraising for the agency's Montgomery County youth programs. The "Blue Tie" affair will be held on Friday, May 15th at the Schuster Performing Arts Center in Downtown Dayton from 7:00 p.m to midnight. The Blue Moon Affair will celebrate CAP's efforts while raising funds to sustain the agency's youth programming. The special performer for the evening is Actor, Writer, Singer, Composer, Poet and Dayton native, Daniel Beaty! He has performed on television, in theatrical productions and in concerts throughout the United States. The evening also includes a cocktail hour, dinner, entertainment from Premium Blend Music and a presentation from the Youth Empowerment Center. WHIO-TV's own, Letitia Perry will serve as the evening's emcee.
As a "Blue Tie" event, guests are encouraged to wear a blue dress, suit, tie, and/or accessories.
