Senior Living Moves To BonnyBrook Farms

A Dayton developer plans to break ground this month at the BonnyBrook Farms, for a new unassisted senior living.

White Oak purchased the BonnyBrook Farms for $6 million from another single-family housing developer. The developer said their new $65 million housing will attract significantly less traffic and fewer people than the previous concept.

Neighbors are concerned about their property losing value. But the developer said that the amount of money invested will, if anything, increase the value.

“I think we have enough elderly residents in the area already," says Gary Gibson of Washington Township, "We don’t need anymore."

Nearly 500 people over the age of 62 are expected to move into these new apartments. One third of the land will be preserved as untouched woodlands.

BonnyBrook Farms is moving to 350 acres in southeast Warren County.
