Sherman Tank Spotted In Troy

Some residents of Troy did a double-take Friday morning when they saw a military tank coming down the street!

The Sherman Tank is on loan from the Allen County Historical Society to the WACO Historical Society.

It will be part of a weekend "Military Experience" at WACO Field in Troy.

The tank, used in World War II, paraded up South Market Street to the public square and back to WACO Field.

The "Military Experience" runs from noon until 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
